Information about accessibility

LEG Thüringen endeavours to make its websites accessible in accordance with national legislation implementing Directive (EU) 2016/2102 of the European Parliament and of the Council.

Which sections are not accessible?

Sections that are not accessible:

  • PDF downloads posted before 2021. PDF files posted from 2021 will increasingly be made accessible or replaced by accessible versions as soon as possible. All files are marked accordingly.
  • Some subtitles of videos. In the case of newly posted videos, we endeavour to provide subtitles as soon as possible after publication.

A relaunch of the website in 2022 will complete the removal of some barriers.

Conciliation procedure

The German Federal Commissioner for Matters Relating to Persons with Disabilities has a conciliation board pursuant to Section 16 of the German Equal Opportunities for Persons with Disabilities Act (BGG). The conciliation board is responsible for resolving conflicts between persons with disabilities and federal public bodies.

You can call on the conciliation board if you are not satisfied with the answers you get from the contact option above. The aim is not to find winners or losers. Rather, the aim is to jointly find a solution to a problem and out of court with the help of the conciliation board.

The conciliation procedure is free of charge. You do not need legal advice either.

You can find all the information about the conciliation procedure on the website of the conciliation board. It tells you how a conciliation procedure works and how to apply for conciliation. You can also submit the application in plain language or in German sign language.

You can contact the conciliation board at the following address:

Conciliation Board under the Equal Opportunities for Persons with Disabilities Act at the Federal Government Commissioner for Matters relating to Persons with Disabilities
